It's no secret that Beastie Boys is a household-known name, even nearly 40 years after the band formed, but for those of us who didn't get to see them in their prime, we've been left with a longing every time You Gotta Fight comes on.

My Posse in Effect - A Beastie Boys Tribute is making a stop on in the Quad Cities this weekend at the River Music Experience.

"This is the premier Beastie Boys tribute act hands down," The River Music Experience's website reads. "Taking you through decades of their unforgettable hits, this seven-piece live band replicates the authentic Beastie Boys experience with three MCs, a world-class DJ, and visuals from their iconic video collection."

Doors for the show open at 8pm, the show starts at 9pm.

Tickets are available through the River Music Experience website for $15 a piece, or they can be bought at the door for $18 a piece. Reserved tables are available, but all tickets are General Admission.

If attending, you must be 19 years of age or older, unless otherwise accompanied by a parent or guardian.
