What's the best excuse you could come up with after putting your vehicle in a compromising position? I bet it doesn't top this guy's.

36-year-old Lim Pin Jing in Sentosa Cove, Singapore crashed through safety barriers and drove his car into the sea. The car sank to the bottom with Lim trapped inside.

Luckily the captain of a super yacht saw what happened and jumped in the water to save him. The captain broke out a window with a rock and pulled Lim to safety.

According to eyewitnesses, Lim spoke about dying and said that a mermaid had told him to drive into the water.
