A driver was arrested during a traffic stop after more than 562 grams worth of drugs were found in his car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

One Florida Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a vehicle driving 68mph in a 60mph zone, and when the trooper approached the vehicle, he was hit with a strong marijuana smell.

The trooper called for backup and searched the vehicle. The driver, 47-year-old Geoffrey Dale Coffman, told the troopers he had marijuana in his car but does have a valid medical marijuana identification card.
