Mall Santa Says “No. No Guns” To Kid’s Request for a Nerf Gun

A Mall Santa dropped the hammer on a kid who had one simple ask for Christmas this year, causing him to cry almost immediately.

Santa asked the child what he'd like for Christmas, and apparently the kid asked for a Nerf Gun, to which Santa interjected immediately.

"No, no guns," he could be heard saying in a video shared to Facebook.

The young boy's mom jumped in to clarify, saying "Nerf Gun," but Santa still wasn't having any of that.

“Nope, not even a Nerf gun,’’ Santa said. “If your dad wants to get it for you, that’s fine, but I can’t bring it to you. What else would you like? Lots of other toys. Legos. There’s bicycles. There’s cars and trucks. What do you think?”

The boy turned to his mom and began to cry, even when she bent down and said "You'll still get it."

I'd like to point out that this fake-ass Santa isn't even bringing the kid ANY presents, let alone getting to pick which ones he does or doesn't get.

Twitter immediately jumped on the situation, polarizing nearly immediately, with the majority being upset the kid couldn't get a toy he wanted.

"Nerf guns shouldn't be politicized, because they're a kid's toy," one user wrote.

Another said “Haven't kids been through enough this year? I give the mom credit because I would have caused a scene.”

Bye bye, jerk Santa, and hello new, closer to real Santa.
