Friday morning, The Comancheros stopped by the Dwyer & Michaels morning show ahead of two performances in the area over the weekend.

The trio comes from Columbia, Missouri, but the blood of two members comes from the Quad Cities Area.

Jon, the bassist, grew up in the Burlington area, but found himself in the Quad Cities for work as a truck driver and school bus driver.

Michael, the drummer, comes from Monmouth. He and Jon grew up together in the same circles of homeschool kids.

Eventually, the two linked up later in life after Michael started The Comancheros with Tanner in Columbia and they needed a bassist.

Jon and Michael have family and friends in the Quad Cities still, and they can't wait to entertain them this weekend, with two shows.

Friday night is a show at Vinnie's Longbranch in Fort Madison, Iowa, and Saturday is a show at Rascals Live in Moline.
