All proceeds from the auctions will benefit Boy Scouts of America.
The record for these auction so far comes from the car submitted by Seth Rollins, which sold for $3,200.
Also racing in the 2021 2Dorks Pinewood Derby were:
- Pat Miletich (MMA Champion and commentator)
- Pat Angerer (Iowa Hawkeyes and Indianapolis Colts)
- Jake Gervase (Iowa Hawkeyes and Los Angeles Rams)
- Tavian Banks (Iowa Hawkeyes and Jacksonville Jaguars)
- Kasey Kahne (NASCAR)
- Allen Lazard (Iowa State and Green Bay Packers)
- Johnny Lujack (Notre Dame and Chicago Bears)
- Tim Dwight (Iowa Hawkeyes and Atlanta Falcons)
- Patrick Levesque (Dek Hockey and Quad City Mallards)
- Matt Campbell (Iowa State University Football Head Coach)
- Kirk Ferentz (University of Iowa Football Head Coach)
The rest of the cars will be up for auction in the coming weeks, but with the Cy-Hawk game running this weekend, it felt like an appropriate time to get the coach cars out there.
It'd be awesome for Kirk Ferentz's car to go for the highest price at auction, because then at least then Iowa would be walking away with some bragging rights.
