Race season isn't over yet!  Cordova Dragway will host the Funny Car Chaos Championship Finals on September 18 and 19.

You can win tickets to feel the ground-shaking action below!

Funny Car Chaos in Cordova

Funny Car Chaos brings some of the wildest outlaw drag racing in the country to Cordova, with a huge field of Funny Cars battling for the championship. Fans can expect massive burnouts, side-by-side racing and plenty of unpredictable, high-horsepower action.

And the Funny Cars are only part of the show! The weekend also features Nitro Chaos, Jet Funny Cars, Nostalgia Gassers, Super Stockers and Sportsman Racing.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

  • Spectator gates open at Noon
  • Sportsman racing begins at 3 PM
  • Funny Car Chaos qualifying at 6 PM and 8 PM

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

  • Spectator gates open at 8 AM
  • Sportsman racing begins at 9 AM
  • Warm up with the Chaos cars in the pits at Noon
  • Funny Car Chaos eliminations at 2 PM, 4:30 PM and 7 PM
  • Championship Celebration at 8 PM

A lot of times this is where I'd say something about winning Pit Passes.  Like we normally do with the Summer Nationals and World Series of Drag Racing.  But for this contest it will just be regular tickets...because EVERY TICKET IS A PIT PASS!

There will be funny cars, nitro cars, jet funny cars, nostalgia gassers, super stockers, and sportsman racing.

You can check out the full list of drivers and their cars at the Cordova website.

Sign up to win tickets below and feel the ground shake one more time in 2026 at Funny Car Chaos.

LOOK: These Photos Show Why ’70s Cars Were Something Special (and Obviously Better)

Big, bold, and built different — these ’70s cars looked and felt like nothing on the road today. Take a ride back and see them in their prime. [And we did our best to identify the models and dates, so if we got it wrong, gearheads, don’t come after us!]
