Crime hasn't gotten so bad in Chicago, that a shooting happened at one of the most popular tourist attractions in the whole state of Illinois.

It's very sad how bad crime has gotten throughout Illinois. Of course, it's way out of control in Chicago but now it's spreading all over the state. Even places that have never had any issues are starting to see multiple problems pop up. Many residents are afraid to go into the Windy City.

One Of The Most Popular Tourist Attractions In Illinois

If we could take care of the crime in Illinois, it would really be a great place to live. There are plenty of amazing attractions in our state to go check out. Of course, Chicago is filled with them too. One that's always at the top of the list is Navy Pier. I love that place. There are great restaurants and stores. It is also home to entertainment and attractions. I've never been nervous about going there until recently.

Shooting At Popular Illinois Attraction

The crime problem has now infected Navy Pier which is one of Illinois' most popular attractions. It was just last weekend on Saturday night at just past midnight. A late-night cruise ship just pulled into the harbor. A man and woman got into a huge fight. The boat security broke up the battle.

The guy was kicked out but he returned a short while later with a gun. He shot the lady in the leg. She was transported to the hospital and will be okay. As for the suspect, he was arrested and will probably be there for a while. Navy Pier was opened back up in a few short hours.

 A woman was shot following an argument on a cruise ship at Navy Pier early Saturday morning.

 

Chicago police say passengers were deboarding a ship at about 12:20 a.m. when an unknown male offender got into a fight with a woman.
