Wisconsin: Beloit Apple Orchard Grows 21 Irresistible Varieties

This apple picking season must include a stop at Beloit's most impressive apple orchard, complete with 21 different apple varieties.

One of the reasons everyone loves fall is because it's so fleeting! The excitement for fall starts in August, but the breezy season doesn't really hit until mid-September. Then, by Halloween fall is basically over. We have about six weeks to really enjoy the season and that means you have to make every day count!

I don't know how we got to the end of September already, but we did. Which means, it's time to plan out the rest of the fall season. While you're planning, you might want to add a stop at The Apple Hut in Beloit, Wisconsin, 1718 W Walters Rd.

Why the Apple Hut? For starters, throughout the fall season, they grow 21 different varieties of apples! I didn't even know that many apple varieties existed, let alone that one apple orchard was able to grow so many!

Throughout the season the different apple varieties are available to pick off the trees, or you can grab some of the big bags of apples that the actual 'hut' has for sale inside.

I asked the owner, Lori, what her favorite variety was and she said the 'Snow Sweets,' which are available right now. I tried one and they are super delicious and unique! They could be the sweetest apples on Earth. You'll have to tell me what you think when you try them!
