Why Yellow Cap Coca-Colas Are Flying Off Illinois And Iowa Shelves This Week
You may see some unique Cokes in stores.
Hi, I'm Sarah and my blood type is Coca-Cola. I drink more of it and Diet Coke than I care to admit.
Recently, in stores and gas stations, you may have noticed that there are uniquely colored caps on Coca-Cola products. They're yellow. Why?
The Reason
This week is Passover for the Jewish community and the yellow cap marks a soda that is kosher-friendly, meaning it's sweetened with real cane sugar instead of corn syrup. The caps are stamped with 'OUP', which is the Passover certification symbol of the Orthodox Union, according to Business Insider.

If you want to try it, make sure to get a few bottles! Passover ends on April 20th.
