Western Illinois ‘Santa Mail’ Box Now Accepting Letters To Santa
Ready for the holidays? Moline is!
If you're already in the process of decking your halls, you have the stockings hung by the chimney with care (or Command strips), and everyone in your house is in the Christmas spirit, you'll want to stop by a certain mailbox in Moline.
For yet another year, Moline Parks & Rec has opened their bright Santa Mail box.
Letters to Santa may be dropped off now through December 1st (which is actually a bit later than years past). Santa's responses will be mailed out starting on December 2nd.
Before you drop your letter in the box, they want to remind you:
- Include a return address
- Please make sure names/addresses are legible
- You don't need a stamp or return envelope
Santa's Moline-based elves are going to check the mailbox daily (except on weekends) and make sure that the letters make it to Santa in the North Pole in time for Christmas. Santa will respond to each letter individually.
Kids do not have to live in Moline to participate, kiddos from all over are welcome!
Whether or not you're waiting until after Turkey Day to deck the halls, taking a letter to Santa in Moline can be a great way to keep the kiddos occupied while the family is in town for Thanksgiving. The mailbox is located at 3635 4th Avenue.
So you and your kids still have a shot at making it on the Nice List if you can get a letter to Santa in time!
