Christmas Magic Returns To Hometown Holiday Event In Eldridge
A free, festive event is back for families this year.
One reason we love the Christmas season so much is that there's unique stuff to do with your loved ones. And where else can it be besides a cute, Hallmark-worthy backdrop?
Eldridge's beloved Hometown Holiday is back for another year. It's a free event (anything free is always welcome around the holidays) for the family and will be on Friday, December 5th from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in downtown Eldridge.
As in years past, Hometown Holiday will have no shortage of ways to keep the kids and family entertained. There will be s'mores, Christmas music from Yours Sincerely, horse-drawn carriage rides through downtown, crafts, Santa at the Eldridge fire station, a Grinch hunt, hot chocolate and cider, and alpacas the kids can feed.
There will be wreath raffles, some goodies from The Fun Station, carolers, and Elves on a Shelf.
Whether you're with your family or if you're with your partner, pretty much all of downtown Eldridge will be a cute, festive place to spend a December Friday night. I can confirm it's a really cute, fun time. The entire event schedule for Hometown Holiday will be released on December 3rd.
It may feel early to talk about stuff in December. But since the holiday season is already chaotic, go ahead and set aside December 5th to visit Eldridge's Hometown Holiday, which will mostly be on N. 2nd Street. You can keep up with the latest as Hometown Holiday gets closer on the North Scott Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page.
