On Saturday, September 26th, the iconic movie site will host its first-ever "Glow Activated" Celebrity Baseball Night, bringing together baseball creators, softball players, professional athletes, live music, and a whole lot of glow-in-the-dark fun for any baseball fan. Speaking of which, the event is designed for all ages, but you don't have to be a serious baseball fan to have a good time here.

The evening portion of the event begins at 5 PM, when the gates open at the new MLB ballpark. Families can enjoy outdoor games, food vendors, interactive activities and photo opportunities before the main entertainment begins.

Country and heartland-rock artist Ben Gallaher will perform live at 6:30 PM before the baseball personalities and special guests take the field. At around 7:30 PM the stadium lights will go dark and the UV blacklights crank up. It's time for some "Glow Activated" fun. You'll start seeing the baseballs, players, and the entire field in a whole new way.

The night's featured Glowing Yard Home Run Derby gets underway at 8:15 PM, with UV-reactive baseballs being launched into the Iowa night. Between rounds, Big League Wiffle will hold its "Can You Hit This?" pitching challenge, putting some of the event's biggest hitters up against difficult Wiffle Ball pitches.

The night concludes with a Glow Softball Game at 9:30 PM, with the event scheduled to wrap up at 11 PM.

By the way, there will be plenty of familiar faces around the field. The lineup includes baseball creators such as Eric Sim, the Lapp Bros, Jeremy Nowak, Drew Richards, Josh Cathcart and Dave Steinman, along with pro softball players Rachel Garcia and Tiffany Stevens. Minor league players Yazy Arbelo and Josh McAdams are also scheduled to attend, as is former MLB catcher Miguel Olivo.

In all, the event's announced lineup includes more than two dozen baseball and softball players, creators, and personalities. Those celebrity guests have a combined social reach of more than 3.1 million.

For baseball fans who want to make a full day of it, there's even more happening before the family-night festivities. The Big League Wiffle Tournament begins at 9 AM and runs until 4 PM at the movie-site field.
