The cold Quad Cities months are ahead of us.  And not all our neighbors will be able to stay warm on their own.  Townsquare Media is happy to partner with KWQC in support of the Rotary Club of Bettendorf blanket drive.

How many blankets are needed for the Quad Cities?

The Rotary Club of Bettendorf has a goal of over 4,000 blankets.  That would be double the amount of blankets they were able to collect and distribute last year.

Once those blankets are collected, they will be given to dozens of area non-profits that help low-income families (including many children) in hopes to keep them warm this winter.

The blanket drive is happening now with an easy dropoff Friday.

The blanket drive is happening now with numerous dropoff locations that you can see below.  But the easiest way to donate your new or gently used blanket will be Friday, October 28 at the KWQC studio.

Simply drive up the Brady Street hill.  Pull into the KWQC driveway.  There will be staff and volunteers there waiting to take your blankets.  Then you drive through the parking lot and right out onto Perry street.
