Florida Man Arrested After Shoving Eleven Liquor Bottles Down His Pants

A booze thief's crime spree has come to an end after he was caught trying to limp out of a store with eleven liquor bottles shoved down his pants.

55-year-old Anthony Whitfield was arrested in connection to a string of thefts that all played out the same way. He would go into a store, put a bunch of alcohol in his pants, and then leave with a "limp that was not present upon entering."

Over the past two months, Whitfield has stolen $3,000 worth of booze from Walmart, Walgreens, and Publix stores around St. Petersburg, Florida. When shown surveillance footage, the thief identified himself.

Whitfield is facing multiple felony theft charges.
