Iowa Basketball Coming To The Mark

Fire Station Damaged By Fire While Fire Fighters Fight Fires
Say that 3 times fast!
Firefighters left on a call and there was a kitchen fire in the fire station.
Today In Rock History
Today in Rock History, in 1974, a guy pretending to be Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple crashed a "borrowed" Porsche in Iowa City - he was arrested and charged. We can't find anything about it other than short blurbs about it.
Until we heard from Dan, who remembers being a kid and having a guy knock on the door in the middle of the night covered in mud, saying he just crashed his Porsche at their house in Coralville at 5am. Dan's stepdad came to the door.
The story was that this muddy guy was driving his friend's Porsche after they'd been out partying all night, crashed the car on I-80, and got into a fistfight with each other. Dan's stepdad called the cops and the "Muddy dirty hippy" as Dan called him was arrested.
Obviously, we can't say this was the same story, but a crashed Porsche in Iowa City/Coralville in the mid-70s? Close enough for us!

Told You The Gym Was Bad
A guy was found dead in a Planet Fitness after 3 days.
I mean, it wasn't from working out, but it was IN the gym. Three days dead in a tanning bed - oh, and they found a needle next to him.
Packages Are More And More Damaged
Packages saw a 75% increase in damaged packages year over year, and we all have some sort of story about a box that was completely mangled when it got to us.
