The old Eagles in Bettendorf has a weird thing going on right now, where the building looks like it's possessed or something.
Inside A McFlurry Machine
The ice cream machines at your local McDonald's will now be working again soon thanks to a new "right to repair" exemption. For years, the company that made the machines were the only ones who could fix the machines, and they'd take forever to get around to whichever store.
iFixIt is the website spearheading the deal, and they even tore down one of the machines to figure out how hard they could possibly be to fix it.
The Exorcist
Here's a throwback, of people losing their minds coming out of The Exorcist, some fainting and some just deeply disturbed. It pales in comparison to some of the movies out today, but it was a completely new type of film when it came out, and it's no wonder people were so distraught.
Paraglider Hits 24,000 Feet
A guy on a paraglider got caught in a windstorm and got swept up to 24,000 feet, and survived to tell the story. He said he knew he was going up, but he passed out. You need supplemental oxygen starting at 10,000 feet.
He woke up hanging from a tree.
Whoops
A woman was charged with careless driving after getting into a golf cart and installing a drive-thru in a restaurant that was not there before she was there. She didn't know how to operate it, and went through the restaurant and ran into people eating dinner.
