Right Into The Wall
Before the Indy 500 even started, one driver was out of the race. Scott McLaughlin was weaving to warm up his tires during the pace lap, when he lost control and put the front left tire right into the wall.
He said he has no idea what happened.
This was his second crash of the Indy 500. During the practice for the race, McLaughlin hit a wall and went airborne momentarily.
Something similar happened in 1992 when Roberto Guerrero lost control during a parade lap and crashed out of the race - and he was in pole position!
Rental Box Truck Explodes
A rental truck in Addison, Illinois, suddenly exploded as the truck drove down the street, leaving the driver with some minor injuries, but the truck and its contents went everywhere and damaged four homes.
13-Year-Old Opens A Can
A 13-year-old walking home from school was attacked by a guy who was hiding between two cars. He stepped out and tried to punch her in the face, so she opened a can of whoop-ass on him.
Savannah Bananas
Megan went and saw the Savannah Bananas game in Kansas City.
The Bananas' upcoming is a pretty cool story. A failing ballteam reworked their entire idea, and now they sell out every stadium they show up to, regardless of size, and the only way to get tickets is through a lottery.
New Documentary
There's a new documentary out about the Tylenol murders that happened back in the 80s near Chicago, where someone was tampering with Tylenol bottles.
Chicken Turf War With Peacocks
There's a big problem in Miami right now. A turf war, but not between gangs of criminals - gangs of chickens and gangs of peacocks.
