Speed Cameras
The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:

Raccoon vs. Homeless Guy With A Flaming Mop
A mysterious fire at a vacant house that happened Tuesday morning was solved after police located a man who was seen near the home.
Turns out, he was a homeless guy crashing on the enclosed back porch of the house, when a raccoon invited itself inside. The homeless guy had a candle burning for heat, and he threw it at the raccoon, which then lit a mop on fire.
He tried using the mop to chase off the raccoon, which just spread the fire - and burned the house up. He went and let the neighbors know to call the fire department.
Sounds like one of those insurance commercials.

Dwyer ordered new stickers for the radio station and he has to share a video of him enjoying the stickers for a 20% discount.
Weezer Bassist's Wife Shot By Cops
Some dudes on the run from a hit-and-run split up while running from the cops, and one of them ended up in a neighborhood.
The suspect ran through a yard, and when cops followed, Jillian Lauren (author, wife of Weezer bassist) came out of her house with a gun, and either fired her gun at something or pointed it at the cops - this is a little unclear at the moment.
She refused to drop the gun, so cops winged her. She hid in the house for 30 minutes with her babysitter before coming out and surrendering.
When Geese Attack
Some college students are living under siege at the moment by a goose who has a taste for blood and is keeping them trapped in their home.
You hear college kids say "I can't leave the house, I can't go to class because there's a goose" and your first thought is that it's completely made up, but watch this video and you'll see it's a legit excuse.
