Utah Hockey Club Starts Off With A Win
A pre-season exhibition game between the St. Louis Blues and the brand-new kinda-old Utah Hockey Club. They're part expansion team, part relocated Arizona Coyotes. Nonetheless, they won the game, but not after their first goal in history was an own-goal across the ice into an empty net during a delayed penalty.
Pilot Has To Emergency Land On Highway, Then Takes Off
A pilot flying over Wyoming had an emergency and had to land on the highway. He then stood on the side of the road, made repairs, and took off again with the help of the highway patrol.
The WHP shared some pictures of them helping out with the situation.
One Way To Take Down A Perp
A guy who was barricaded inside a motel room in Texas. He had a warrant out for his arrest, and when the cops showed up, he shot at them and then barricaded himself. Cops called in SWAT, he shot at SWAT, then a SWAT sniper shot him once, and then they decided to send in the robot to spray tear gas into the room.
He saw it coming, so he threw some blankets on it, but that didn't matter - it gassed him out, and then ran him over repeatedly and then climbing and resting on top of his body.
Dwyer's Welcome Mat
Dwyer had to get a new welcome mat, but he just threw it over the ones he already had, like throwing a new registration sticker over the license plate.
Hairball's Welcome Mat
Hairball has a cool welcome mat that has inserts that swap out for you to change with the seasons and holidays.
There's like 30 different inserts you can get - your wife or mom would love it.
Quad Cities Marathon
The Quad Cities Marathon was this weekend, and the race hit a little snag when a slow-moving train along the race route stopped runners for awhile, preventing some new personal records.
Bulls Had Enough Of This Bullsh!t
Some bulls in a rodeo at the Emerald Square Mall in Attleboro, MA, decided they were done being a part of the show, so they ganged up and got out.
Dwyer's Birthday Gift
Dwyer's birthday was this weekend, so we got him a little gift... from Mr. Methane.
