Dying The Chicago River
It costs only a couple thousand dollars to dye the Chicago River, and the bill is taken care of by Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union Local 130.
A bunch of volunteers spray the river with dissolved tablets of an orange-red vegetable-based powder.
A Tea Spill Worth Millions
A guy spilled hot tea on himself in a Starbucks drive thru, and disfigured his penis. He ordered 3 Venti hot teas, and one wasn't in the carrier all the way. It spilled, and well, just watch the video below.
Hot Coffee Documentary
The guy spilling us tea drew comparisons from the case of the woman who received a settlement from McDonald's. There's a documentary about it, and we found the whole thing for you to watch here:
Don Gorske Ate His 35,000th Big Mac
Don Gorske held an event this weekend at a McDonald's in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, where dozens showed up to witness history as Don crossed the line of 35,000 Big Macs eaten in his lifetime.
You'll remember, he started some 50 years ago, eating nine a day. Now, he's down to two, and this past week, he had to limit himself to one per day to make sure he hit 35,000 at the event on a Saturday.
Hairball Took A Girl To The Don Event
As we talked about on Friday, Hairball was taking a girl on a second date... to go 4 hours each way and see Don Gorske eat his 35,000th Big Mac. Don was so excited, he gave Hairball a shoutout during his speech!
Here's proof there was a girl there:
He was more excited about meeting Don Gorske than anything, and he did!
There were commemorative pins and one-of-a-kind meal voucher.
New Speeding Record
A new speed record has been set by a guy who got pulled over by an Iowa State Trooper. The previous guy was pulled over for 126mph. This guy clocked in at 132.
Journey Cancels Show During Don't Stop Believin'
At the Houston Livestock Show, Journey was on stage, five songs into their set, when they played Don't Stop Believin'.
Suddenly, the music cut off, and the band walked off stage as the crowd continued singing.
Reportedly, they had to cancel the rest of the set and didn't return.
This other video perfectly captures the rest of the band's reaction to the failure.
