Greg Kihn Passed Away
After a battle with Alzheimer's, Greg Kihn passed away at the age of 75 on Tuesday, with the news being released yesterday to the public.
You remember him from his songs like Jeopardy, and The Break Up Song (They Don't Write 'Em).
Jack Russell Passed Away
The frontman from Great White, Jack Russell, passed away yesterday as well. He retired from touring a month ago due to a diagnosis of Lewy body dementia and multiple system atrophy.
Jack Russell brought us some big hits, like Once Bitten, Twice Shy; Lady Red Light; Rock Me, and Save Your Love.
When Great White Was In Studio
In 2016, we had Great White in-studio and the video still lives on the 97X page. Unfortunately, it wasn't with Jack Russell, but this was a killer acoustic performance of Save Your Love.
Dwyer Could Be ASE Certified
Dwyer spent 2.5 hours doing a 10-minute battery replacement yesterday by using the wrong tools for the job. He had two ratchet sets, a free promotional adjustable wrench, and a sledgehammer.
Monster Cereals Are Hitting The Shelves Again
The Monster Cereals are back in season, and hitting the shelves right about now. When we were discussing, we realized there were some discontinued characters, like the werewolf - Frute Brute - and Yummy Mummy - who replaced the werewolf.
New Glarus Brewery Story
Michaels toured the New Glarus Brewery and saw a film about how the brand became what it is today.

Grand Funk Railroad Sosng Everyone Ripped Off
Dwyer heard a Grand Funk Railroad song he hadn't heard in a long time while we were in San Diego, and it sounds like everyone who put hits out in the next 10 years after this song came out stole the sound from it.
Some Music Trivia
The Steely Dan song Peg has a guest vocalist doing all of the backing vocals during the chorus, and you'll never guess who it is. It's not Walter Becker or Donald Fagen.
The backing harmonies are layered by one person, and that'd be the one and only Michael McDonald.

So far, 5 people have been arrested in the death of Matthew Perry - a few doctors and one woman known as the "Ketamine Queen," as well as Perry's personal assistant.

Woman Hit Her Boyfriend With Her Car
A couple on their way to couples therapy had a snag on the trip when the boyfriend decided he was done and broke up with her. She slammed on the brakes and kicked him out of the car, and when he was crossing the road, she hit him with her car.
