Today In Rock History...

In 1963, The Beach Boys record "Surfin' USA", which would climb to number three in the US by mid-April. Although it was credited as being composed by Brian Wilson, the tune was a note-for-note cover of Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen". Following a lawsuit, Berry was granted writing credit and royalties from the record.

Hey Don't Do That

A lady in Florida was mad at a guy who was fishing a pond where fishing is allowed, and decided she was going to push him into the water. She walked up to him and tried to body check the guy into the water, but being she was half his size, she might as well have body checked a wall.

Dude didn't even budge, and the lady ended up on the ground.

Don't Wear Your Butt Plug To Your MRI

A woman is suing a sex toy company now that she's finally almost recovered a year after a butt plug was sucked up inside of her forcefully by an MRI machine. She had the toy in when she went in, and figured she was fine because when she bought it, the advertising said 100% silicone. Turns out, it's 100% silicone except for the metal core inside of it. They say items like a paper clip move at around 40mph when inside of the MRI machine. This machine pulled the toy - flared base and all - up high into her abdomen.

The strength of MRI machines are pretty crazy.

This is why metal is not allowed during an MRI byu/amartyamishraaa inBeAmazed

We Obviously Have So Much Planned Today

We played some great music on the show today. Somehow, it came from the butt plug MRI conversation.

There's a new docu-series about OJ Simpson that has a bunch of never-before told stories and information. You might've passed over it because we all know the OJ Simpson - but this one actually has stuff you haven't heard about before.

Time For A New Career

There's some great clips of bull riders out there - but everybody can agree that the best ones are when something goes wrong. This guy might need to reconsider his career.

Fire Aid

A benefit concert was held to raise money for Los Angeles to rebuild, and they called it "Fire Aid."

The performance lineup is one for the ages, with both new and old artists sharing stages to play to sold out arenas.

One of the highlights was Dave Grohl renuiting Nirvana to tribute to Kurt Cobain, with St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett, and Grohl's daughter Violet all standing in for Kurt.

You can see the whole concert below, sectioned out in 2-hour blocks.
