A Crazy Emergency Landing
A plane had to make an emergency landing at a golf course, and slid to a stop through the practice green and into a parking lot, barely missing a guy who was working on his putt.

Another Scam To Worry About
The scammers have found a new way to get your credit card info. They replace the QR codes you scan on the "Pay On The App" parking meters with their own, which takes you to a "parking payment" page, and then they take your money and your credit card information.
Today In Rock History
Today in 1890, axe murderer William Kemmler was the first person to be executed by electric chair.
This is a wild picture, the first photograph of an electric chair execution, and it looks like your favorite 90s grunge album cover.
Cameras weren't allowed into the execution, but one photographer strapped a camera to his leg, wiring a fire button up through his sleeve, and caught this iconic photo.
Ruth Snyder was executed - she took out an insurance policy on her husband, and then she and her lover killed him in what was supposed to look like a "Burglary gone wrong." Reportedly, the police connected the dots very quickly.
Crazy Semi Crash On I-80 Yesterday
There was an accident just outside of Iowa City yesterday along I-80, and cleanup took hours to complete due to the extent of the damage and mess that came with the multi-semi accident.
