29-year-old Erick Flowers was in a high speed pursuit with police in Anaheim, California when he crashed his Mustang and needed to find a hiding spot.

Flowers crossed all the lanes of the 91 Freeway and then made his way through the backyards of a nearby neighborhood. Officers then began searching the yards, eventually they found him in a covered hot tub.

Homeowner Don Norrell was surprised to see the police in his backyard with the suspect. "They lifted it up and there he was just laying in there," Norell said. "He must have been there at least 30 minutes, breathing that hot, moist, chlorine-ish type air. He was just so out of it."

Flowers was charged with suspicion of felony evading, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His passenger, Andres Rivero, was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
