
Two Dollar General Employees Accused Of Stealing $45K In Stuff To Sell On Facebook
We've all found some kind of crazy cool deal on Facebook Marketplace. Whether it's shoes, a car, or grad party decorations, it's all on there. Have you ever wondered how the person acquired things?
Authorities in Ohio have taken two women into custody and charged them with theft for stealing thousands of dollars' worth of items from a Dollar General store they worked at.
Toledo police say that 44-year-old Martha Schultz and 46-year-old Stacey Leestma of Toledo have been charged with stealing nearly $44,000 worth of prodcuts from the Dollar General store they worked at last year, with the intention of selling them on Facebook Marketplace (many of which, they did).

Police said the store manager told them she saw the two pretending to scan items being checked out by some co-conspirators they had in the store pretending to be customers, and hiding the items in bins.
They sold the items thorugh their own Facebook accounts.
