Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, DENNY LAINE, a founding member of both The Moody Blues and Paul McCartney's WINGS, will be performing his solo acoustic "Songs & Stories" show at Davenport's River Music Experience on Saturday, July 20.

I got a chance to talk with Denny about songwriting and the love of music.  To hear about how a Grammy award winner composes songs was totally great!  Stories like when the lights went out during a Wings show and he & Paul McCartney walked out using flashlights and had to improvise some tap dancing.

Denny's a legend.  He's played with a member of almost every band we play on 97X.  For him to be so humble was amazing and inspirational.

Denny is putting on some really cool shows next week in California.  He and his band will be performing the entire Band on the Run album and Magnificent Moodies albums. And it's quite possible...even if you don't get out to CA to see him...those shows may be coming to a DVD near you.
