Clock Face Falls From Purdue Tower During Maintenance
Am I still salty that the Purdue Boilermakers beat the Iowa Hawkeyes by two points earlier this month? Yes, I am. Does this video make up for it? Almost.
During some maintenance on Tuesday, contractors were working on one of the clock faces on Purdue's 160-foot tall bell tower. Somehow, while the clock was being moved by a crane, it came loose.
First it bounced off the cherry picker the workers were on, then it fell to the ground, bouncing off the tower on the way down. Luckily nobody was injured.
