A church in California is giving parishioners the option to booze it up during Sunday services. Having relocated to a food lounge, they now have plenty of beer taps.

The Greater Purpose Community Church in Santa Cruz opened a few years ago and recently sold their building to move to a more progressive space. "For us a church is a community and a movement," said Pastor Chris VanHall. "It’s not brick and mortar.”

Current sermons are held in a food lounge where church-goers can enjoy a couple beers. Greater Purpose Community Church is currently renovating an old bookstore and turning it into a brewery. They will use the brewery to generate funds for charity.
