Celebrate Halloween Early in this Quad City Area Town
October has just begun and one Quad City area town is celebrating Halloween early.
There's a celebration happening this weekend, Oct. 9 from 2 pm - 6 pm in DeWitt, Iowa. Don your best costume and hit the streets in DeWitt.
Wander through the streets of DeWitt dressed as your favorite witch, pirate, pumpkin or ghost for Crawl-O-Ween. There are 13 unique stops. No, that's not a random number. It's one of the scariest numbers this time of year. Stroll the streets of DeWitt while you eat, drink and shop. Costumes are required....ok, maybe costumes aren't REQUIRED, but why would you go to a Halloween themed event and NOT dress in costume?
Crawl-O-Ween starts at Hansen Monuments in DeWitt, 1109 11th Street and continues throughout the town. You'll find live music, fun, food and drink. Of course you have to be 21 or older to consume adult beverages.
Stick around after the ghoulish festivities for spine shivering live music at Jorgie’s Bar & Grill! Or scream along starting at 7 pm with The King of the Dancing Dead, DJ Chad, for Karaoke at MJ’s Tap.
Tickets are on sale now for $20 each and may be purchased the day outside of Hansen Monuments, 1109 11th St, DeWitt, IA 52742, starting at noon.
Proceeds go to the Marketers of DeWitt (MOD). All money raised by MOD events go towards the promotion of DeWitt and all that the town has to offer. It should be a spooky time for all. You can find more information about the event here.
