Sheriff's Deputies in Volusia County, Florida are being hailed as heroes after rescuing a 73-year-old woman from a sinking vehicle after she crashed into a retention pond.

The whole rescue was caught on body camera video, which the office shared to their Facebook page.

Deputy Nicholas Maletto, the first officer on scene, headed into the water and was soon helped by Deputy Patrick O’Melia as they worked together to get the woman out of the vehicle.

The video also shows infrared aerial video that shows another angle of the story.

She was reportedly okay, and Deputy O'Melia was also able to grab the woman's purse.
