Most people have their favorite team sign a ball, or a poster, but one Chicago fan has the signatures where nobody else does - on his skin.

Literally covered head to toe in tattoos, 60-year-old Glenn Timmerman is going viral for not just the craziness of having tattoos of a 157 different people's autograph, but each one has a unique story of how he got them. Each tattoo is an actual permanence of a real autograph.

"I used to say I was the biggest Bears fan, now I'm just the craziest Bears fan? Because I go over just a little bit more than the rest," he told NBC Chicago.

20 years ago was when the expedition began, when he ran into Otis Wilson at a local bar, then it took off from there.

"When I got the first one, that was going to be it. I didn't — c'mon, when am I going to meet another Bears player? Any then 10, 15 ... it's like 'wow, this is interesting,'" he said.

The only one he hasn't gotten that he wishes he could, is the late great Walter Payton. Otherwise, he has just about every other Bears Hall of Famer.

He had some trouble with Jim McMahon, who declined to sign, but his explanation made sense.

"He did tell me, the amount of time he’s been with the team, he’s signed so many women on their breasts, there’s no way he’s going to sign a guy," Timmermann said.

Dick Butkus was hesitant to sign when Glenn started to pull his pants up, but once he understood what was happening, it was all cool.

Mike Ditka signed his neck, and when he did, he grabbed him by the head and shoulder and told him "Nobody will ever have that again, because this is the only time I'll do this" as he signed."

NBC Chicago did a long interview with him, where he told the stories behind so many of the autographs, shows them off, and shows off the Bears collection he has at his house.
