Apartment Complex Evacuated Due to Guy Cooking His Urine

The police and fire department went to an apartment complex in Amherst, Massachusetts last week, after they got a few reports of a terrible smell coming out of an apartment.

When they looked inside, they saw something that looked like chemicals cooking on the stove, so they evacuated everyone out of the complex. A hazmat team went inside to find out what was really going on. A guy was cooking his own pee on the stove.

Apparently he was distilling it to use it for an alternative medicine treatment called urotherapy. According to Wikipedia, "urotherapy refers to various applications of human urine for medical or cosmetic purposes, including drinking one's own urine."

The guy isn't facing any charges.
