A Country Nightclub Is Opening In Rock Island Tonight

I have a feeling that Lil Nas X would love this.

You may not be able to take your horses down to the old town road here in the Quad Cities, but you can get your country kicks in Rock Island now! According to KWQC, a new country-themed nightclub is opening tonight.

It's called Billy Bob's Redneck Party Bar and is set to offer live music, pool tables, karaoke and a mechanical bull. (Count me out on that last one, I am not nearly coordinated enough for that).

Billy Bob's is owned by one of the Quad Cities' very own, Chris Michaels. According to KWQC's report, his business is striving to support local nonprofits every Friday by donating money from the cover charge.

The club is on 2nd Avenue in the downtown district, and there will be a ribbon-cutting for the club at 6:30 tonight. The club will have specials all weekend, which can be found on their Facebook page.
