Back Shop Pizza in Clinton is an unsung hero in this area as far as I'm concerned.  Not only do they have great food (their pizza, in particular, is great) but their back room is the best game room around.

Remember going to the arcade at the mall where there were tons of games and lights and sound and the energy was out of control?  This is what the back room of Back Shop is like.  It's a great place to have a kid's birthday party but really it's great for everyone.  Myself included.

I'm reminded of the famous quote from Step Brothers.

"Can you imagine if we had these when we were 12?"

 

 

"Even better. We got 'em when we're 40"

You can tell just by walking up to the place how much FUN it is.  With relics from the past like the Hamburglar play set, "Mater" from Cars, a few GIANT chickens and even a Bus outside decorating the place.

Back Shop Pizza in Clinton, Iowa has the Dump Truck Challenge! Two people, have one hour to finish a one-topping 30-inch pizza in 1 hour.

If you win you don’t pay for your competition pizza and you will get free T-shirts, $60 in gift cards to use later, and spots on their Wall of Fame!!

On May 20, 2022, they not only had their 4th official winner...but they set a new record to beat.  Professional Eaters, Randy Santel and Katina Eats Kilos set a record of 24 minutes and 4 seconds!
