It's clear, not all of us are fighting the good fight, but it’s time to change that. We all have reasons why we don’t care about the countless issues in the world around us, but these reasons are invalid and often excuses. It’s easy to be distracted by work or housework, but your mind should never cease thinking about how to make the world better. Social justice issues are all around us—from gun control to animal rights—and if you stop worrying about yourself and start focusing on others, you can do your part to make this world a better place..

Because social justice isn’t just about politics or being liberal or conservative. Because social justice isn’t something that belongs to a political party, race, gender, orientation, economic class, religion, or anything else. Because social justice doesn’t always look like activism. It looks like acceptance and equity for all people. Because there are billions of people suffering around us who deserve our attention.
