World Taekwondo Federation Undergoing Name Change to Avoid “WTF” Acronym

We live in a digital age, an age where having the acronym "WTF" for your organization could be considered negative. At least the World Taekwondo Federation seems to think so.

WTF will be dropping the F and will be known as just World Taekwondo now. The organization held "Federation" in its name since 1973.

They feel as though the slang related to their old name was "unrelated to our organization and so it was important that we rebranded to better engage with our fans."
