Woman Has Emergency Surgery to Remove Vibrator Stuck in Bladder
A woman in Arizona is no longer a fan of adult toys after a painful experience that ended in emergency surgery.
The woman (who remains anonymous), was using the device externally as intended with her boyfriend, when she suddenly felt a sharp pain that brought the fun to a screeching halt.
The toy had disappeared, and neither she or her boyfriend knew where it went. The device was vibrating her entire stomach, and not in the way one would hope. Still on and buzzing, the couple took off for the emergency room.
After several unprevailing pelvic exams, the emergency staff called an OBGYN to help figure out where the buzzing buddy could have gone. It wasn't in the first place one would assume, so the doctor ordered an X-Ray, which told the whole story.
The X-Ray showed that somehow, some way, the toy slipped through her urethra, lodged itself in her bladder, and turned sideways. It had to be surgically removed. The OBGYN was impressed by the case, because he had never seen such a thing.
The woman is filing a lawsuit against Crave, the company that created the device, saying that there was a lack of warning that this instance could have happened.
