Woman Fractured Mom’s Skull with Crucifix

A woman in Texas is currently behind bars after an altercation that left her mom's skull fractured.

25 year old Christian Lydia Martinez, who had spent the day drinking, returned to her home, and got into an argument with her mother.

As they argued, Christian grabbed a 10 inch crucifix off the wall and began hitting her mother in the head in a stabbing motion. The beating resulted in a fractured skull, which was determined when Martinez's mother was transported to a nearby hospital.

Christian is being held for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the Bexar County jail, in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
