TikTok users have been showing off some surprisingly weird findings about the places they live, like one family who believe their home was previously a cartel house. A new development has come to surface in the race to find who has the weirdest secret area.

Samantha Hartsoe shared a series of videos to her profile yesterday that began with her trying to track down where a draft in her bathroom was coming from. She eventually traced the blowing air to the mirror in her bathroom.

@samanthartsoeseriously never would I have expected to find this... and I documented all of it #mystery #fyp #nyc #secret #foryou #apartment #storytime♬ Mysterious - Andreas Scherren

It was then that she realized there was a hidden room behind the wall, so she called her friends over to check it out before making the obvious decision to find out what it was.

Samantha armed herself with a hammer and climbed on through the hole after saying a prayer.

The final video of the series shows her exploring an apartment identical to her own, but completely unused other than a bottle of water and some garbage bags, indicating someone had been in there recently.

Samantha finishes the TikTok, saying she'll be calling her landlord in the morning after discovering the front door of the unit was unlocked.
