‘Wizard of Oz’ Tin Man’s Iconic Oil Can Is Going Up For Sale

An iconic piece of movie history is going up for auction soon, and you're going to need to call a good witch to help you afford it.

The Tin Man's Oil Can, from Wizard of Oz is remembered fondly by viewers for its use when the character is first introduced. Dorothy and Scarecrow discover the Tin Man rusted in the forest, where he mumbles "Oil Can" over and over until they use it to free his jaw so that he can sing his song.

According to TMZ, the oil can is the only original item left from the iconic character's costume.

For the first time ever, the rare piece of movie history is going up for auction for the first time ever through Kruse GWS Auctions, where it's expected to sell for $200,000.

This oil can is just about as significant as Dorothy's ruby red slippers, which one of the four pairs recently sold for $2 million.

Currently, the piece is on display at the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum as part of a lot featuring multiple Elvis Presely personal items, like shirts, scarves and rings. Also featured, his custom TCB Sunglasses, which start at $10,000.

Also featured in the auction block, is some of Joe Exotic's personally worn clothing, which starts at only $100.
