God’s Favorite Skunk Reeks Justice By Spraying Church Burglar During Arrest
On August 4th Spokane County deputies responded to a burglary at the Church of the Nazarene in Deer Park.
Surveillance footage captured a man walking around inside the church wearing a mask and holding a flashlight. During the video, he was looking at the church's audio equipment.

The burglar was identified as 28-year-old Grant M. Simonson.
After roaming around inside the church he climbed out an open window. Deputies were outside waiting for him and commanded Simonson to put his hands up.
At that moment a wild skunk ran up to Simonson and sprayed him, then scurried away. (If this isn't a coincidence then I don't know what is.)
Police said that Simonson was arrested and taken into custody.
After he was read his rights, Simonson told police that he was "wide awake and bored." He noticed the open window at the church and decided to go inside because he was "curious."
He was booked into the Spokane County Jail for second-degree burglary. He was later released on his own recognizance later in the day.
What's hilarious about this video is that when they cut back to the weatherman after the story, he is absolutely losing it and he laughs uncontrollably. The news station then cuts to a break so he can gather himself.
