Who Makes the Best Mac & Cheese?

There are differing opinions about who makes the best macaroni & cheese. Some are very traditional and other enjoy taking it to the next level. Who has the greatest Mac & Cheese in the QC?  We're going to find out on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

It's time for the QC Mac Down at the Freighthouse in Davenport, Iowa.

You don’t see many restaurants or eateries that serve mac & cheese because of its simplicity. It’s actually pretty difficult to get wrong, but when it’s done right, there isn’t anything better than a great bowl of cheesy pasta.

Before tasting, most everyone has a different opinion of what makes a good mac & cheese. When it comes down to it, what makes a great mac & cheese is all up to personal preference. So how does one go about deciding which is right for them? Is it a texture thing? A sauce-to-pasta ratio? The amount of melted cheese? We don't have all of your answers, but we do have some options for great Mac & Cheese.

Comfort food is a broad term used to describe foods that are familiar, culturally associated with particular memories of home, and often nostalgic. Comfort foods can be made at home or purchased from a restaurant.

Mac & Cheese is one of my favorite comfort foods for sure!
