Lots of us drink to make the pain go away, but what about the pain that comes the next day? Turns out we're willing to give up a lot to get rid of hangovers permanently.

A new survey asked drinkers what major thing they would be willing to give up to never be hungover again. Surprisingly, a very small amount said they would give up booze.

These are the top ten things people said they would sacrifice to avoid hangovers forever:

  1. Watching sports.
  2. Their dignity, by getting-it-on with someone unattractive.
  3. Social media.
  4. Coffee.
  5. Netflix.
  6. A stranger's life.
  7. Alcohol.
  8. A fingertip.
  9. Their dog or cat's life.
  10. Their cell phone.
