What City is the Richest in Iowa?
You might think you know which Iowa cities are the richest, but you just might be surprised.
According to the US Census Bureau, these 23 cities earn the highest average income per household in Iowa, and Davenport, Bettendorf, Clinton, and Muscatine all made the list! They're ranked by thousands of dollars earned per year. Only cities with relatively large populations are included, so if you know of a crazy wealthy township somewhere, you probably won't find it here.
Still, this list surprised me! I thought it was kinda funny that Muscatine beat out Council Bluffs by one whole dollar. Good job, Muscatine. Don't spend it all in one place!
