The Quad City Storm are slated to take on the Vermilion County Bobcats twice this weekend with back-to-back theme nights, and we have tickets for you! Enter below to see if you can go with tickets, on us.

On Friday, the team celebrates its mascot, Radar. For his birthday, the February 3rd game will see the first 1,000 fans through the doors receive a free Quad City Storm mini hockey stick.

On top of the mini stick giveaway, Radar's mascot friends are coming to help him celebrate, so multiple mascots will be wandering the stadium, playing games, and of course, singing happy birthday to him. The final guest list is expected to come soon.

Saturday is also a theme night for the team and a great one at that. The Quad City Storm invited fans out to the ice on Monday to paint the names of loved ones who have battled cancer, as a way to honor their battle and for some of them, to honor their lives.

The event ran all day Monday, and it's both neat to see the people's names on the ice honored for their fight but also sad to see so many names written.

The team typically dons some jerseys with the names of those in the organization and family members who have battled cancer, such as players, players parents, or staff members and their family members.
