Boz Scaggs is set to play the McGrath Amphitheatre in Cedar Rapids this summer, and we have tickets for you below.

Boz is known for his five-decade spanning career as a guitarist and solo artist. Born in 1944, the 77-year-old joined the Steve Miller Band, where he performed on the albums Children of the Future and Sailor.

His 1976 album, Silk Degrees hit Number Two on the charts after a major breakthrough commercially, and it remained on the album charts for 115 weeks. The album featured three Top 40 hit singles: It's Over, Lido Shuffle, and the Grammy-winning Lowdown.

Even though he had some major success in the '70s, the '80s saw him out of the spotlight, raising his kids, opening a family business, and creating a nightclub called Slim's, located in San Francisco.

He returned to the music scene with a bang after an 8-year hiatus, releasing the Grammy-nominated album, Come on Home.

"Music has been a constant companion and I'm feeling more free with it than ever," Scaggs comments. "I feel like I've found my voice through all these years, and I've gotten closer to where I want to be with my approach.
