Drone footage from our buddy Steve over at QC Drone shows what West Lake is looking like now that the lake bed's mud has dried and plant have moved in.

The Scott County Conservation Board & Iowa DNR started a project in 2019 to improve water quality. In the project the agencies drained all the water from the lake, dredged it, and stabilized the shore, as well as some other projects explained on their website.

Current look at West Lake in Davenport Iowa today.
