[WATCH] Thief Shoves $8,000 Guitar Down His Pants Before Leaving Store
Police in the York Region of Ontario are asking for the public's assistance in finding a man they say stole a guitar from Cosmo Music.
The suspect walked into the music store and meandered around. He picked the $8,000 Gibson Custom Shop 60th Anniversary ’59 Les Paul Standard off of the shelf and played it for a moment.
When employees and customers had their backs turned, he quickly and carefully slid the guitar in his pants. Next, the suspect walked over to another guitar and played it non-chalantly to ward of any suspicion.
Then, he left.
