Led by frontman Blackie Lawless, W.A.S.P. gained notoriety for their provocative lyrics, controversial stage antics, and over-the-top live performances. The band's early albums, such as their self-titled debut and "The Last Command," helped establish them as one of the most known bands of the 1980s metal scene.

W.A.S.P. continued to release albums throughout the following decades, with highlights including "The Crimson Idol" and "Dying for the World." The band has continued to tour regardless of a few lineup changes, beginning their 41st year this year.

Joining them will be Armored Saint, another heavy metal band formed in 1982, known for their hits like Can U DeliverReign of Fire, and March of The Saint.

W.A.S.P. is taking the stage at The Rust Belt on August 17th. Tickets are available through EventBrite at 11am Tuesday, April 11th.
